12,000 Year Old Site Discovered

Hold on to your history books, because we’re about to blow them away.

Recently, archeologists have uncovered a few ancient sites that pre-date any timeline that traditional history books stick to.  Our history books state that our modern human history begins at the earliest around 5000 B.C.  Up until recently, any archeologist that claimed or even suggested that certain ruins or sites could pre-date this have been met with disdain, ridicule and sometimes ostracising the claimant from the field.  We’re going to borrow an introduction from Hugh Newman.

At 6,500 years older than Stonehenge and 7,000 years before the pyramids were constructed, a cult megalithic complex sat atop the hills near current day Sanliurfa, in southeast Turkey. Göbekli Tepe was flourishing an astonishing 12,000 – 14,000 years ago, and today, the preserved remains still exhibits high degrees of sophistication and megalithic engineering skill. Back in the 1990’s when Robert Schoch exclaimed that the Sphinx could be many thousands of years older than previously thought, he was ridiculed. Graham Hancock’s popular theories of an 12,000 year old Ice-age civilizations were slammed. Now today, there stands a unique, and remarkably ancient complex that is shaking the foundations of science and history, awakening an interest in our human origins, and has been carbon-dated by German archaeologists to the end of the last ice-age. Game on.

There are two sites we will talk about here – Gobekli Tepe in Turkey (discovered in 2015) and also the ancient city of Coricancha in South America (recently argued to be much older than previously thought).

Without further ado, here are 5 facts about the recently uncovered ancient sites as we’ve discovered them.

1. Both Sites were carbon-dated at 12,000 – 14,000 years old

This fact alone completely destroys our current timeline of human history.  Our current model of human evolution puts us at the agricultural revolution somewhere around this time.  We began social grouping into civilisations around 8,000 – 5,000 B.C. and started constructing the ancient wonders of the world around 3,000 B.C.  Except for a few unexplained outliers such as the stonehenge, Easter Island and similar sites, that’s the timeline historians stick to.  These two sites blow that out of the water completely with

2. They Are Both Megalithic Constructions

Megalithic is a fancy word for “these guys used some big ass rocks”.  On these two sites, they used rocks as heavy as 1,100 ton per block.  1,000 Ton Blocks are incredibly large.  Almost unfathomably large.  Even with modern machinery, we still can’t figure out how to cut stone this large and transport it around.  This means pre-historic people were able to do this over 12,000 years ago and we somehow lost this form of building.  This leads me to my next point.

3. No One Knows How They Were Built

We can only stipulate theories on the construction of these monumental sites.  Most archeologists are baffled by this dating and state that it would have been impossible to creates these sites without the inventions of the wheel and the pulley.  So how were they built?  No one knows.

4. Both Sites are named “The World’s Navel”

Cuzco, Peru is also called ‘The Navel of the World’. Interestingly, Göbekli Tepe’s name has a similar meaning and is one of many ‘world navels’ or ‘sacred centres’.  Cuzco is a megalithic city.  Now let’s start on the really cool facts that link these two together.

5. These Two Sites are Distanced Exactly The Same Distance as The Earth’s Diameter; 12758.88km/7,928 miles

Distance between ruins.
The distances between Gobekli Tepe (name means ‘Belly/Navel hill’) to the sacred centre of the Coricancha in Cuzco, Peru (also means ‘Navel/Centre’).

Could this be an eery coincidence?  Sure it could.  But when you find so many coincidences and similarities between the sites – this one fact seems to solidify the theories of a master builder who knew the global measurements.  Something our current history models do not account for.

If this last fact is true, we are faced with the reality that human history has it all wrong.  We were an advanced species 12,000 years ago – advanced enough to build monolithic structures, know the measurements of the earth and essentially were able to travel large distances.

There are a few researchers who have been tracking these theories and now with these discoveries, their research seems to be validated.  Graham Hancock is one of those researchers.  Recently, I finished both of Graham Hancock‘s amazing books into our collective past.  His research is fascinating.  Although I would highly advocate you to read his books – specifically Magician of the Gods (2015) and Fingerprints of the Gods (1995) – which pile on what seems to be an insurmountable mountain of facts and evidence of civilization existing before our written human history even began (circa 5,000 B.C.).   These newly discovered archeological sites are dated at between 9,000 B.C. and 12,000 B.C.  That’s anywhere from 11,000 – 13,000 years ago.
